Angry Liverpool to Sell Coutinho to Fund Signing of Chelsea’s Boxer
Chelsea recently fined Diego Costa for refusing to report at the camp during pre-season. The player is determined to leave Chelsea following a outburst with Antonio Conte, and he is seeking a move back to Atletico Madrid. The Spanish teamn currently serving a transfer ban is unable to make any offer now, but a January move remain a possibility.
Another want away player is Liverpool’s Phillipe Coutinho. Following Neymar’s move to PSG, Coutinho has been on Barca’s radar and have had two bids rejected by Liverpool. However, the player who is also interested in a move have demanded a transfer request and was swiftly declined by the club.
The way its looking right now, Costa does not want to wear the Chelsea kit anymore, and Coutinho’s heart is set to play for Barcelona. Maybe we are in for another deadline transfer shock. It doesn’t seem Liverpool will be able to stop Coutinho from joining Barcelona and it would make much sense if they could cash in on their most prized asset especially if Barcelona can cough up the 150m Euros demanded by Liverpool.
Liverpool were without a proper striker throughout last season with Daniel Sturridge coming on and off due to injury. Diego Costa is a proven Premier League player having scored 52 EPL goals in his 3 seasons in England. Liverpool have got the right mix of attacking players to help him score more goals.
