Arsenal, Liverpool Risk Missing Out on Top Four Premier League Spot

Arsenal and Liverpool have dropped vital 4 points in their last two games in the Premier League, widening the gap between them and those presently occupying the top four spot. Despite Manchester United losing to Man City last weekend, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal could not close the gap because they all failed to win their respective games. And while Chelsea and Manchester United have been able to bounce back during midweek match, Liverpool and Arsenal continue to drop points.
It is too early to judge but the run-in games during the festive period have always proved vital in the race for Premier League title and top four finish in the past. As it is, Manchester City look like a runaway leader especially after their win against rival and second placed Manchester United. They continued their impressive run of wins, beating Swansea 4-0 to help Guardiola break the record for Most Consecutive Win in Premier League after winning a winning streak of 16 games.
As it stands, Liverpool and Arsenal stay in 5th and 7th position respectively, and while the former is level on point (31) with Tottenham who occupies the 4th position, Arsenal has 30 points. Liverpool and Arsenal are dropping points in matches they could have easily won and this could pose a real problem come the end of the season.
