Barcelona Announces Mascherano Exit

FC Barcelona has formally announced the departure of defender Javier Mascherano who will be leaving the Catalina giants for China.

The Argentine signed for Barcelona in 2010 from Liverpool and ever since has been impressive making 334 appearances and winning 18 trophies which includes La Liga and champions league.

The 33 year old will now continue his football career in China after successful playing years in both England and Spain.

According to reports from Spain,The defender will be granted an “institutional farewell” by Barca on Wednesday, with president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the first-team squad to be in attendance.
