Chelsea Bow to Bottom Placed Crystal Palace, City in Big Win AGAIN
Chelsea suffered their second successive defeat in the Premier League following a shock defeat 2-1 in the hands of bottom placed Crystal Palace on Saturday evening. Before the game. Crystal Palace were still looking for their first goal in Premier League this season, having lost seven out of their seven opening Premier League games, opened the scoring through an aczpilicueta’s own goal in the first half.
Bakayoko scored an equalizer through Fabregas’ cross but Crystal Palace were in control as Zaha created most of the host chances before putting Crystal Palace ahead late in the first half. Palace should have won with a higher margin but missed a lot of open chances. But at the end, they are delighted with their first win of the season.
Elsewhere, Manchester City beat Stoke City 7-2 with Gabriel Jesus scoring a brace for the host. City had to overcome a scare when Stoke scored a successive two goals after City had already gone 3 goals up and went ahead to score 4 more goals to make it 7-2. Tottenham were lucky to beat Bournemouth 1-0 courtesy of Cristian Eriksen’s wonder goal
