Coutinho and Salah Shine for Liverpool, Lukaku Scores

Coutinho was the star man for Liverpool as they brushed aside Bournemouth in a 4-0 victory on Sunday evening. The Brazilian opened the scoring with a fine solo move before coolly finishing past the Bournemouth goalkeeper in the 20th minute. Lovren headed home the second from a Firminho’s flick while Sallah scored a third from a difficult angle to put Liverpool in the driving seat before half-time. Firminho scored from a header earlier in the second half to complete a four goal route, taking them above Arsenal who beat Newcastle to the forth position with a point difference.

Earlier, Manchester United had beaten Westbrom 2-1, thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Lingard. It was a difficult game for the Red Devil and the boss confirmed his team lost focus in the second half while addressing the press in a post-match conference. United win means they closed back the gap behind Man City to 11 points.
