EPL Update: Man United Climbs Above Sixth Following Arsenal Slip

Man United have started to reap from the benefits of hiring former player, Solskjaer as the caretaker manager after beating Leicester City 1-0 making it eight wins out of nine Premier League games.

England striker, Rashford scored the winning goal early in the first half after receiving a fine pass from Pogba who gathered a loose ball from Leicester City’s defender, Pereira who failed to clear well from his half.

In other fixtures, Arsenal were beaten 3-1 by an Aguero inspired Man City who led his team to victory by scoring a hat trick at the Etihad stadium. The result now means Arsenal have slipped to sixth position barely days after occupying the fourth place as a result of Chelsea’s heavy defeat to Bournemouth.

Man United are now fifth on the table, two points behind Chelsea who enjoyed a big win against Huddersfield on Saturday, a game which sees Higuain scored a brace.

After the win against Arsenal at the Etihad, City are now trailing Liverpool two points while the Kops will take on Westham at Upton park on Monday night
