EPL Update: Wins for Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool as Arsenal Failed
Man United are back to winning ways after beating Norwich City 1-3 on Sunday afternoon to end their run of no away win in the Premier League since last season. McTominay, Rashford, Martial were all on target for he Red Devil but still to overcome their penalty misery as both Rashford and Martial had earlier missed a penalty apiece before getting on the scoresheet.
Ole’s Man United would have boosted their morale ahead of their crunching Capital One Cup against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. Chelsea on the other hand were also in high spirit after beating Burnley 4-2, 2 on Saturday, courtesy of a hat trick goals from Pulisic and a goal from Willian.
Liverpool came from a goal down to beat Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday. Harry Kane had put the visitor on the driving seat after opening the scoring in the first minute, but Liverpool had to wait till the second half before goals from Henderson and a Salah’s penalty earned them a deserved 3 points to further extend their lead at the top of the table.
Arsenal wasted a two goal lead to hand Crystal Palance a hard earned draw at the Emirate. Sokratis and David Luiz had put the Gunnners in fron in the first half, but they failed to seal the win, handing Crystal Palace a two second half goals to get a draw.
