Juventus Fight Back Late but Avoid Embarrassment at Sampdoria

Juventus could have been handed an embarrassing final score at the hands of Sampdoria on Sunday after going down to three nill before scoring two late goals to save 3-2 defeat.
Three second-half goals from Duvan Zapata, Lucas Torreira and Gianmarco Ferrari looked like they were taking Sampdoria to a well-deserved victory.
But a Gonzalo Higuain penalty and a fine strike from Paulo Dybala in injury-time ensured it was a nervy end for the home side’s fans.
Juve could have taken the lead after just two minutes, but Higuain fired an effort from just inside the penalty area inches wide.
The Argentine striker did have the ball in the back of the net on 27 minutes, but it was ruled out for offside after he smartly finished after a ball in from Stephan Lichtsteiner.
