Marcos Alonso Heroic Display Saved Chelsea Day
Marcos Alonso scored a brace to help Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-1 in their first game in Wembley. In a game which Tottenham most of the possession, Chelsea were able to grind out result despite starting the game as an underdog following their loss to Burnley last season.
Alonso scored a free-kick in the first half to put the visitor ahead. And when the game was in the last ten minutes, Batschuayi a late sub for Morata, headed into his own net just few minuted after coming on. And just when it seems the game was going to end 1-1, Marcos Alonso stepped up again to fire home a left footed shot to seal the victory for Chelsea
