0

Welcome to Mobizone Weekly English Premier League Preview. A crunchy fixture between Manchester United and Tottenham is set to hold in the early hour of Saturday. Ahead of the weekend matches, Chelsea are hopeful they can have Kante back in the team and Morata can play full 90 minutes.
Manchester United vs Tottenham
These two old foes, who first met in 1909, lie second and third in the table, only separated by goal difference. It’s a crucial game for both sides as they look to close the 5-point gap on leaders Manchester City. It’s impossible to write about Tottenham at present without mentioning Harry Kane. After his 2 goals in last weekend’s 4-1 win against Liverpool, Kane has now banged in 45 goals in 2017 for club and country. Kane is also the Premier League’s (PL) top scorer this season with 8 goals, despite not scoring at all in August.
Manchester United slipped to their first defeat of the season last week away to promoted Huddersfield. Nevertheless, United are undefeated at home in their last 21 league games and have only lost to Tottenham at home twice in 31 games since 1989 (all comps.). That said, Tottenham have won 7 of their last 8 on the road in all competitions, drawing the other game at Real Madrid. The last 5 games between these sides have gone the way of the home side.
Jose Mourinho’s side are yet to concede a goal at home in the PL this season, while Tottenham have only conceded 2 away.
Mourinho has a 75% win rate against his Tottenham rival Mauricio Pochettino. Kane is a slight doubt for the game with a hamstring injury, while United find themselves amid an injury crisis. Be sure to check out the team news in the lead up to the game.

Bet Tips
– Tottenham are undefeated in their last 7 matches. X2
– Tottenham have gone 4 consecutive matches without a draw. 12
– Tottenham have won their last 4 matches. 2

Arsenal vs Swansea
Arsenal have won their last 9 home games in the Premier League (PL), keeping clean sheets in 7 of them and winning at both half-time and full-time in their last 3. This will be Arsene Wenger’s 800th PL match in charge of Arsenal, with only former Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson managing more in the competition (810).
Olivier Giroud has been directly involved in 5 goals in 7 PL starts against Swansea (3 goals and 2 assists), but he is expected to be on the bench after playing 120 minutes against Norwich in the League Cup on Tuesday night.
The Gunners have scored at least 2 goals in their last 7 home games in the PL, while there have been no more than 2 goals in the Swans’ last 9 away games in the league.
Swansea have won 3 times at the Emirates Stadium in the PL, all of which coming in their last 5 away trips since December 2012, with only Chelsea defeating Arsenal more often there (4).
Bet Tips
– Arsenal have gone 4 consecutive matches without a draw. 12 (Anybody wins)
– Swansea have gone 4 consecutive matches without a draw. 12 (Anybody wins)

Liverpool vs Huddersfield
Huddersfield travel to Anfield in high spirits, after shocking in-form Manchester United last weekend. The hosts have had contrasting fortunes, with the defence becoming a real issue. They enter this game off the back of a 4-1 thumping away to Tottenham. The pressure is mounting on Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp, who now seems to be receiving criticism from all corners. Legendary Liverpool defender Steve Nicol recently said “Jurgen can not be trusted with transfers”, and that they are worse off after his 2.5 years at the helm.
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 19 games against newly promoted opposition. However if Huddersfield manage the impossible and come away with a win, they will join a select few of promoted teams who have beaten both United and Liverpool in their first season. (Bolton, Manchester City, Portsmouth).
Mo Salah has been in great form since joining the Reds and has averaged more than a goal every 2 games (5 from his first 9 appearances). The danger man for the travelling Terriers can be identified as Aaron Mooy, directly involved in 10 goals last season, and fresh from netting vs Man Utd.
Although the momentum looks to be with the visitors, the stats point to a home win. Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 6 PL games at Anfield, remaining unbeaten. Huddersfield have failed to score in their last 3 on the road, with each of these games finishing with under 2.5 goals (total).
Bet Tips
Liverpool have failed to win any of their last 3 matches. X2
Huddersfield have gone 3 consecutive matches without a draw. 12
