Mourinho’s Pragmatic Approach Catch Up Against Man United in Huddersfield Loss

Manchester United seem to have forgotten how to score following a run of disappointing displays since their goalless draw against Liverpool. man United was handed a shock 2-1 defeat by Huddersfield in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The host had a flying start scoring two goals in the opening 30 minutes. Mourinho started Martial who had a frustrating game after picking up a yellow card after a tussle with one of Huddersfield players in the opening 5 minutes. Martial could not endure boos from home fans and was replaced by Rashford at half-time. Rashford got a consolation for United in the final third of the match but could not find a second.
Mourinho was heavily criticized for his approach in the match against Liverpool. The pragmatic defensive approach which resulted in Liverpool controlling most part of the game really didn’t go down well with observers and fans alike. Man United had spent a lot of money on players in recent transfer market. Before the match, former Tottenham, Tim Sherwood reckons this kind of approach would hinder the team’s confidence and may probably feel inferior when they meet big teams in the Premier League
