Ronaldo’s First Liga Goal This Season Was Vital for Real Madrid
Ronaldo has finally grabbed his first league goal this season and it was a very important one indeed. Having gone on suspension in the opening 5 league games of the season, Ronaldo has struggled to see the back of the net since coming back from suspension, but he was actually doing well in the Champions League, having scored four already from the first two games.
However, Ronaldo finally found the back of the net, scoring the second goal in Real Madrid’s vital win away at Getafe. Real Madrid opened the scoring towards the end of the first half through a sublime finish by Benzema. But the host equalized early in the second half. Real Madrid fans could have been frustrated as the game tends towards the end, but once again comes the hero who rose to lift his team, scoring a powerful half volley past the Getafe’s goalkeeper to hand Real a vital victory.

Barcelona were lucky to steal a draw at Wanda Metropolitano, thanks to a late Suarez’s equalizer. The host were put ahead by Saul’s goal in the 21st minute and held on to the lead until Suarez headed home a tantalizing cross to win a point off Atletico.
