Super Eagles Bow to Atletico Madrid in GoTV Max Cup – Highlight
Super Eagles and Atletico Madrid produced a justification for the mass anticipation built ahead of the Max Cup Friendly match which took place yesterday in Uyo.
Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, beat Nigeria 3-2 in a friendly at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. Fernando Torres scored one of the goals as Atletico Madrid beat the Super Eagles B team 3-2 to win the inaugural Gotv Max Cup on Tuesday at the Nest of Champions in Uyo.
Despite parading some of their best legs, Atletico Madrid started slowly as Kelechi Nwakali opened scoring with a sublime effort, but the newly-crowned Europa League champions quickly levelled through Angel Correa.

The Super Eagles side were back on level terms with 10 minutes remaining as substitute Mohammed made it 2-2 after brilliantly beating his marker.
But in the 85th minute Borja restored Atletico’s lead netting the third goal to bring score to 3-2 to Atletico.
